Thomson Impressions is a new condo development very near to upcoming Bright Hill MRT station.

The Thomson-East Coastal Line (TEL) is a joint MRT line between Thomson Line with 22 stations and the Eastern Region Line with 9 stations. This is an important MRT line as it intersects with 7 other lines including the East-West Line, North-South Line, North-East Line, Circle Line and the Downtown Line. Commuters can start to use TEL in stages from 2019. The Bright Hill MRT station along this line is just a short walking distance to the Thomson Impressions condominium development.

The planned 2-station Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit system crossing the Straits of Johor will be connected to TEL via the Woodlands North station to further enhanced connectivity between our immediate neighbouring country.

The ambitious 50km Cross Isalnd Line (CRL) is earmarked to be completed by 2030. It is envisioned to pass through Sin Ming, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang and Clementi. With the current interconnection drawing, there is a high probability that the interchange between CRL and TEL will be in Sin Ming area, which may be the Bright Hill MRT station along the TEL.

It is a common knowledge that home prices near to MRT stations are expected to hike closer to the completion of MRT line. With an additional station along the CRL that is expected to be near to this condominium, the potential capital gain is expected to be high in the future. Most analysts expect area in Woodland to Upper Thomson to benefit with the highest increase in price as the residents in these areas will gain most from the reduced travelling time to town using the TEL.
